I ordered this truck brand new in late 1976 while stationed as a U. S. Marine in Okinawa, Japan. I placed my order on this truck through the Armed Forces Exchange System. After having many problems finding a dealership stateside that would accept the order. I finally was allowed to have the order sent through to be built. I've had the same truck, and began wheeling it in 1978 with Karl Menger, and his bunch from Menger's Four Wheel Drive in OKC. Our oldest son Brian drove it some. And our youngest son Connor won't stay out of it. Anytime he can dream up a reason to drive "Blue" it is gone. Sounds like I've lost my truck.
