NEILL DORSEY'S “JUS-A-5”

There is a built 351ci Ford Windsor under the hood that can produce a maximum of 406 horsepower and 391 Ft. lbs. of torque at the flywheel. The Dana 300 transfer case is equipped with the Currie twin stick system. The front axle is a GM 10 bolt with 4.88 gears and a Detroit Locker. The rear axle is a 10-¼ Ford Sterling axle with 4.88’s and a full spool. Both axle’s are full width, to match the tracks of the front and rear axle, the front wheels have 4 inches of back spacing, while the rear wheels have 3 inches of back spacing and a ½ inch of spacers. All wheels are 8 lug wheels. The transmission is a NP 435. The low gear in the transmission is 6.69. I am using 35 x 15.5 x 15 Super Swamper SX's. The front shackle has been reversed. A Tony Vail bumper on the front holds the Ramsey REP 8000 in place and protects the AGR power steeringbox. The springs are on top of the axles. With double shocks in front. All the springs are 6 leaf springs. This was accomplished by using a Super Lift add a leaf and taking a spring out of the old springs when they were replaced. There is a full roll cage, and digital gauges in the cabin of JUS-A-5. It used to be white and yellow. Now it is black and red.
